Setting up a game to play on the website

This page is wired up and ready — it just needs the game files dropped in. Here's the process each time you want to add or update a browser-playable title:

1. Export the HTML5 build from GDevelop

In GDevelop, open the project, then File → Export → Web (HTML5), and build a local export rather than using GDevelop's own hosting. This produces a folder containing an index.html and supporting files (JavaScript, a data folder with your game's assets, and so on).

2. Place it inside the website folder

Copy that whole exported folder into your site, alongside the other pages, so the structure looks like this:

pendgames-site/
  index.html
  play.html
  support.html
  privacy.html
  terms.html
  styles.css
  assets/
  games/
    bop-a-duck/
      index.html <- the exported game's own index.html
      data/
      ...all other exported files

Name the folder exactly bop-a-duck (lowercase, hyphenated) to match the path already referenced in this page's code — or let me know what you'd rather call it and I'll update the link.

3. Swap the placeholder for the real game

Open play.html and find the comment inside the element with id="gameStage". Replace the placeholder <div class="frame-placeholder">...</div> block with:

<iframe src="games/bop-a-duck/index.html" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>

4. Re-deploy to Cloudflare

Upload the whole updated folder (or re-zip it) the same way you did for the rest of the site — drag it into the same Cloudflare Pages project as a new deployment. Because the game lives inside your own site's folder structure, it goes live with everything else; there's no separate hosting step.

About the ad placeholders

The grey striped boxes on this page are just layout markers — safe to leave in place while you're waiting on an ad network, and straightforward to swap out later. When you're ready to run real ads (commonly AdSense or an H5-games-specific network), you'll drop that network's script/ad-unit code into the same div elements, each marked with a class of ad-slot in play.html. I can wire up a specific network's code once you've picked one and have an account with ad unit IDs.
